Superb 1936 Singer Sewing Machine 15-91 Potted Motor Fully Tested Heavy Duty
Here is a superb, original, 1936 Singer sewing machine model 15-91 with the super smooth running potted or direct drive motor. This machine sewed incredibly smoothly and sewed a perfect stitch top and bottom. It has the beautiful Art Deco scrolled face plate and side cover plate. This machine bears serial number JB 007250 The 15-91 is a beautiful sewing machine and is heavy duty able to sew fine fabrics and light leather and thick denim. This machine has been fully tested to sew a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. The top stitch is pink and the bottom stitch is white. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing and the machine runs extremely smoothly and fast and has that lovely potted motor hum. Comes complete and ready to use. Has the original pedal controller that looks like new, nice power cord with excellent wiring, and 5 bobbins. Black enamel is in great shiny condition showing light pre use on the bed. All the lovely gold decals are in excellent intact condition and show bright yellow color. All wiring is in beautiful condition including wiring going into the input terminal. Motor has newer wiring in excellent condition. All the nickel plated parts, slide plate, needle plate, front and side covers and hand wheel are in first class condition. And this machine runs fast, smooth and quiet.
