Rare 1956 Singer Sewing Machine 15-125 Potted Motor Fully Tested Heavy Duty
Here is a very rare, spectscular, Singer sewing machine model 15-125 bearing serial number AM622655 dating this amazing Singer to 1956 made in Elizabethport NJ. This is a heavy duty all steel machine, able to sew heavy fabrics, canvas, multiple layers of denim and even leather! Only made between 1955 and 1958 this was the successor to the 15-91 and has all the same mechanics and potted motor like the 15-91 but Singer were modernizing and made this very heavy duty machine a more cool color and changed the shape somewhat. This 15-125 runs fantastic and sews a beautiful stitch just like the 15-91. We threaded it up and sewed the perfect stitches you see in my photo. All functions operate perfectly. Comes with the original pedal controller and power cord with excellent wiring. There are 5 bobbins and the bobbin case is in the machine. Condition is very very good, paint looks excellent with a little light usage wear, mechanically this machine is A1. The potted motor is strong and quiet with a beautiful hum. And boy can this machine sew! Great example of a hard to find machine. We are dedicated to customer service.
1936 Singer Sewing Machine 15-91 Potted Motor Fully Tested Heavy Duty Art Deco
Here is a superb, original, 1936 Singer sewing machine model 15-91 with the super smooth running potted or direct drive motor and beautiful Art Deco scrolled face and cover plates. This machine sewed incredibly smoothly and sewed a perfect stitch top and bottom. This machine bears serial number JB 756206 The 15-91 is a beautiful sewing machine and is heavy duty able to sew fine fabrics and light leather and thick denim. The 15-91 is just an incredible machine and this one is amazing how smoothly, quietly and strongly it runs with that beautiful potted motor hum. This machine has been fully tested to sews a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. Both top and bottom stitches were perfect. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing. Comes complete and ready to use. Has the original pedal controller, power cord, a few bobbins, some attachments. Condition is very good. Decals are intact and a nice deep gold color. Black lacquer paint in in nice shiny condition showing some pre use on the bed. All the nickel plated parts, slide plate, needle plate, front and side covers and hand wheel are in first class condition. This machine is a machine for sewing. Superb 1954 Singer Sewing Machine 15-91 Potted Motor Fully Tested Heavy Duty
Here is a superb, original, 1954 Singer sewing machine model 15-91 with the super smooth running potted or direct drive motor. This machine sewed incredibly smoothly and sewed a perfect stitch top and bottom. This machine bears serial number JD 253156. The 15-91 is a beautiful sewing machine and is heavy duty able to sew fine fabrics and light leather and thick denim. This machine has been fully tested to sews a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. Both top and bottom stitches were perfect. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing and the machine runs extremely smoothly and fast and has that lovely potted motor hum. Comes complete and ready to use. Has the original pedal controller that looks like new, power cord, various attachments and presser feet, bobbins, original manual, a complete button holer. Black enamel is in great shiny condition showing extremely light pre use with hardly a mark to be found. Very shiny black paint is in superb condition! All the lovely gold decals are in excellent intact condition and show bright yellow color. All wiring is in beautiful condition including wiring going into the input terminal. All wiring isbin excellent condition. All the nickel plated parts, slide plate, needle plate, front and side covers and hand wheel are in first class condition. And this machine runs fast, smooth and quiet. This is a beautiful example of the Singer 15-91. We will pack very carefully to ensure a safe arrival. Stunning 1954 Singer 191J Sewing Machine Heavy Duty Potted Motor Tested EXTRAS
Stunning 1954 Singer 191J Sewing Machine Heavy Duty Potted Motor Tested EXTRAS. This beautiful Singer sewing machine was made in 1954 in the St. Johns, Quebec, Canada factory by the serial number, JD391282. The Singer 191 was made in a number of countries with a few variations in colour and drive options, the J model was made in Canada and just like the 15-91 it uses a direct drive potted motor. The 191J is a rarer variant of the venerable Singer 15, using the same oscillating hook and mechanics, packaged into a sleeker late 50’s body, that looks like a Singer 201, which they say was made out of Aluminium recycled from WW2 Spitfires. The 191’s are a cast iron vertical oscillating hook straight stitch model with reverse stitch and a drop feed capability for free motion work. A potted sewing machine motor is a direct gear drive motor that attaches to the back of a Singer sewing machine and drives it via a gear on the balance wheel. Hese Canadian made machines used a potted motor which is direct drive with no belts, therefore there is no slippage, and no adjustments required. This Singer sewing machine is in pretty much immaculate condition! The decals are near 100% intact and bright and brilliant! The black enamel is in great shiny condition, absolutely stunning. All the nickel plated parts, slide plate, needle plate, front and side covers have been polished to shine and in top tier condition! We threaded it up and tested all the functions, which work absolutely perfectly, including the light. This machine is incredible!!! It is so fast and so powerful! It makes beautiful stitches as see in the sample photos. The stitch quality is also exemplary whether you are sewing cotton, or heavier materials like denim or canvas. This 191J comes with so many extras, attachments and exciting sewing extras! It comes with its original manual, the foot pedal hard wired in and a power cord. In the green Singer accessory box there are some attachments, rufflers, presser feet and 4 bobbins! This machine also comes with a Singer Buttonholer! It has its original manual, carrying green Singer box, and all parts for it. There is also an original Singer tracing Kit included! This machine is stocked full of amazing things for all your sewing needs! These machines are built like tanks, are nearly indestructible, weigh a ton, as they are cast iron, and will sew pretty much anything you can get under the foot! Regardless of its indestructible design it truly is a beautiful machine. All of our items are of the antique and vintage nature. This machine has been fully tested to sew a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. The top stitch is pink and the bottom stitch is white. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing and the machine runs extremely smoothly and fast and has that lovely potted motor hum. Comes complete and ready to use. Has the original pedal controller that looks like new, nice power cord with excellent wiring, and 5 bobbins. Black enamel is in great shiny condition showing light pre use on the bed. All the lovely gold decals are in excellent intact condition and show bright yellow color.
