Heavy Duty Vintage Singer Electric Sewing Machine. With Foot Controller Pedal. Made in the early 1960’s. A fun vintage style machine, with the easy functions you want today. Straight stitch and zig zag. Has the ability for darning and free motion work, as well as cams to insert for beautiful embroidery, appliques, etc. She sews a wide variety of materials. She is running strong and sewing well. Fully serviced (cleaned, oiled, lubed, new size 16 needle added, tested) and now ready for you. N electric sewing machine with her original Singer foot pedal controller and Singer carrying / storage case. The cords are soft and pliable with no cracking – ready for years of use to come. She sews straight stitches, zig zags, does many decorative stitches with the cams included, has the ability to do darning / free motion work, has a buttonhole function (shown in the manual), and is a full aluminum machine which brings you a sturdy lighter-weight all metal machine. Lots of extras included – bobbins, needles, straight stitch and zig zag needle plates, darning needle plate cover, MANY attachments, 10 cams including the very necessary #1 zig zag cam, all in the original Singer storage box (with some taped edges). Original manual included too! Light wear to the hard plastic Singer case and handle, and some wear to the metal finish on the latches, but no cracks or chips – it’s very sturdy. She’s a hard working, sturdy, heavy duty machine. All metal (aluminum, which is lighter than steel machines). Adjustments for stitch lengths, stitch widths, pressure and tension. Zig Zag and embroidery designs. Darning plate cover included for darning, free motion, etc. Thread cutter behind the needle bar. Made in United Kingdom. Great for heavy materials like canvas, denim and leather. Easily stitched through 6 layers of denim and 5 layers of 3 oz. Leather as shown in photos. Vintage Morse R5L – 73095 sewing machine. Tested and works but does sometimes not move, would be good to check all components and repair/replace anything that might need it. Back area cracked as pictured. Sews and is smooth, but could have unforseen problems!! This is a very old machine, built great but there could be unknown problems!! Could use a good servicing! Made in United States. This is a beautiful example of the Singer 403A Sewing Machine. This unit is in excellent condition. The Singer 403A accepts decorative cams. This unit includes a zig zag cam and so as equipped it can perform straight and zig zag stitches. The unit has an original foot pedal and cords and has one bobbin and so you will have everything you will need to thread and sew with this sale. Please watch the video as it is the main vehicle to communicate the work that I did, the condition and function of the machine. I have a YouTube channel. I want you to notice that I have worked on and operated many different sewing machines. I have personally cleaned, oiled and adjusted this machine to work 100% as you can see for yourself in the video. He verified that this is a heavy duty / industrial grade machine, good for sewing denim, thin leather, etc for personal projects or as a cottage industry (not in industrial amounts). In the sewing world, this machine is called a “clone” of the Singer 15 machine. At the end of WWII the US government gave the Japanese the blueprints to the Singer 15 sewing machine to help rebuild Japan’s economy (and Singer was no longer making them). And the benefit is that these clones have upgrades from the original Singer machines – they run smoother and have extra features like reverse stitch and an easy switch to raise and lower the feed dogs, as well as the chrome hand wheel instead of the painted ones that seem to get chipped. They are work-horses, and often quite beautiful like this one! You’re sure to love her. A beautiful sewing machine in shiny turquoise blue with silver chrome details. A lovely machine, all original. In great condition, as seen in the photos. Completely serviced and ready for you. Straight stitch, with adjustments for pressure and tension. Bobbin winder with new rubber ring installed. Generous harp area (work area between needle and right side). The wiring is in great condition. The bobbin winder is working well – you push it down onto the handwheel to wind the bobbin, and then manually lift it off when finished. This set includes needles, bobbins, buttonholer, attachments & accessories shown. We are also including a printed copy of the manual for these Singer clone machines. The strong all metal machine is great for any of your sewing projects like denim, thin leather, canvas, or for lighter weight dressmaking fabrics. She zig zags, has reverse function, work light, adjustable stitch widths & lengths, feed dog lowering for darning & free motion, and uses class 15 bobbins – easy to find! Built in zig zags as well as 24 drop-in cams. She is a left-homing machine, meaning during straight stitch the needle sits to the left of center, which some say has an advantage as more of the fabric is under the foot, so the fabric feed can be even better, and you can see more guide markings on the needle plate. Her finish has some chips and rubs, but nothing that takes away from her use or her cool vintage style. The wood case is solid with normal age wear to the finish and some cute newer updates. Lots of extras included: attachments, bobbins, needles, 24 zig zag cams, spool pin felt, pink seam ripper and accessories box. A printed copy of the manual is included for the almost identical machine. You’re sure to love her. A beautiful sewing machine with shiny chrome details. An original mid-century beauty.
