Here is a superb, original, 1954 Singer sewing machine model 15-91 with the super smooth running potted or direct drive motor. This machine sewed incredibly smoothly and sewed a perfect stitch top and bottom. This machine bears serial number JD 253156. The 15-91 is a beautiful sewing machine and is heavy duty able to sew fine fabrics and light leather and thick denim. This machine has been fully tested to sews a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. Both top and bottom stitches were perfect. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing and the machine runs extremely smoothly and fast and has that lovely potted motor hum. Comes complete and ready to use. Has the original pedal controller that looks like new, power cord, various attachments and presser feet, bobbins, original manual, a complete button holer. Black enamel is in great shiny condition showing extremely light pre use with hardly a mark to be found. Very shiny black paint is in superb condition! All the lovely gold decals are in excellent intact condition and show bright yellow color. All wiring is in beautiful condition including wiring going into the input terminal. All wiring isbin excellent condition. All the nickel plated parts, slide plate, needle plate, front and side covers and hand wheel are in first class condition. And this machine runs fast, smooth and quiet. This is a beautiful example of the Singer 15-91. We will pack very carefully to ensure a safe arrival.
