Vintage Singer 301A Portable Heavy Duty Sewing Machine with Plastic Storage Case. This machine still works great. It comes with 2 bobbins and a zipper foot. Please read the following. The carrying handle on the machine is not attached. The plug is damaged (chewed on) but fits into receptacle securely. One of the 4 rubber pads on the bottom is worn off and needs replaced.

Clean and running smooth(see video). Case on nice shape. Feel free to ask questions. Would benefit from an oiling and service. Serial number NA441668 indicates a manufacture date of 1954 and was made in Anderson South Carolina. Case is approx 17″ x 10″ x 13 at 23 pounds (machine included). Built in the U. Before synthetic gears were used. Gear driven so there is no belt to slip or break. The box still has the bracket and cleat that holds the power cord and foot control. Feet have original bolts but are well worn flush with the bolt head.

Comes from a nonsmoking home. In good+++ cosmetic condition. We have no idea how long the belt will last. Comes with case which is in need of repair (take a close look on the sides with the latches). Singer 301A straight stitch (with reverse feed) sewing machine plus attachments. Singer 301A is die cast aluminum. Machine still looks good-no paint loss, minimal scratches. All metal mechanical sewing machine built to last with common sense care (brush, oil, lube). Has carrying handle on the top. 16 1/2 bed–end flips up for easy access to the bobbin case. Perfect for the home sewer. Sews a nice straight stitch forward and reverse. Comes with electrical cord, foot pedal and working light. Sews smoothly and quietly. You can look online how to thread the machine. Needle threads from right to left. Comes with the attachments shown in the picture with nice Singer box.
