Heavy Duty Mid Century Sewing Machine. Electric Sewing Machine with Foot Pedal or Knee Controller (it works either way). Working well, she sews smooth and strong. A beautiful sewing machine from the 1940’s to 1950’s. In great condition, as seen in the photos. Fully serviced (cleaned, oiled, tested and new wiring added). Portable, in a sturdy wood base which slides into the original carrying / storage case. Has the ability for darning and free motion work (see page 49 of manual). Sews a wide variety of materials, including canvas, leather and denim as well as lightweight dressmaking fabrics. Original wood carrying case. 65 watt / 110 volt motor, which we believe converts to. A hard working, sturdy, heavy duty machine. Adjustments for stitch lengths, pressure and tension. Note: if you haven’t used a Domestic sewing machine before, the hand wheel turns away from you (clockwise), which is different than a Singer, Kenmore, etc – just wanted to mention it for when you start sewing with her! We have many sewing machines, antiques and vintage collectibles – see our other items. You’re going to love it! Please see all photos for detailed description.
