Most basic sewing machines feature a front-loading bobbin, which can be tricky to install. The Singer HD4423 features a top drop-in bobbin; drop your bobbin in and go! After winding the bobbin, drop it in, run the thread through the groove, and the machine will do the rest. The bobbin and bobbin cover are transparent, allowing you to consistently see the remaining thread, so you never run out in the middle of your project. Use the drop feed feature behind the free arm for free motion quilting and button sewing. You control the fabric’s direction while sewing by dropping the feed dogs.
