Here is a superb running and sewing, antique Singer sewing machine retrofitted to hand crank with a new smooth running hand crank mechanism. It can also be used in a treadle set up. The hand crank is attached to the existing bolt hole put there by Singer in 1917 and attaches with one bolt. This beautiful antique Singer dates 1917 by serial number G5113127 and is a vibrating shuttle model 127 with lovely Sphinx decorations. This is an all steel, heavy duty machine, made when Singer was making the best sewing machines in history! This machine has been fully tested, sews a great stitch as seen in my photos and is heavy duty able to sew very thick fabrics, denim, canvas, leather and fine fabrics too. The hand crank provides more torque and more control. Bobbin winder, tensioner all tested to operate coorrectly. This machine comes with the base, the shuttle and bobbin. Condition is very good for a 106 year old machine, runs incredibly smoothly and cranks perfectly. Decorations are mostly intact with a rub area on the S sewing side, allthe other Sphinx decorations look in excellent condition, bright and colorful. Black lacquer paint is in nice shiny condition with some light pre use on the bed. The front slide plates have been replaced. Everything else is original! We are dedicated to customer service.
