In amazing condition for her age, she’s a real eye-catcher. Hand crank operated (this crank can be removed if you want to use the slot in the case for using a treadle belt on top of a treadle table, or to add a motor at a later time). These Singer 99 machines are lighter in weight than their larger counterparts – they are 3/4 of the size of the Singer 66. Serial Number F7170046, made in 1916. A heavy duty machine, great for denim and leather, but also great for lightweight dressmaking materials. We are including a printed copy of the 99k manual that includes the hand crank option (This is a later manual, so it shows a numbered tension dial and stitch regulator, although this machine doesn’t have numbers on them, which seem to be the only major differences besides the motor and light).
